Creams Cafe, the UK’s leading dessert destination, has announced the first location in a new partnership with Tesco which will see Creams opening in two Tesco stores. The first cafe to open will be in Tesco Extra, Streatham in November this year. This new opportunity and brand partnership with Tesco brings Creams’ exciting brand to Streatham shoppers, with another Tesco location to be confirmed shortly.
Creams Cafe at Tesco Extra Streatham has a prime location on Streatham High Road, a bustling high street, featuring a mix of retailers, a large cinema, a leading gym, fast casual restaurants, businesses and residential homes and is just minutes away from the Streatham Railway Station.
The new Creams Cafe site will accommodate up to 58 covers within a space of 214m2. The brand’s unique signature interior style will feature a distinctive gelato counter dispensing 24 flavours, all hand crafted in Creams’ gelato factory in East London. The array of gelato complements Creams’ trademark vibrant interiors complete with Instagramable graffiti-style artwork, neon signage, suspended skateboards and BMX bikes.
Playful mixed materials draw the eye from floor to ceiling with bright table tops decorated with graffiti-like stickers providing a nostalgic touch reminiscent of pupil-embellished classroom desks.
Innovation is at the heart of the Creams menu, with larger-than-life Instagrammable milkshakes, waffles, crepes, sundaes and cookie doughs. The new Creams will also offer its exclusive blend of coffee, ground and roasted in the UK, served alongside Cream’s custom-made cakes and doughnuts.
As well as dine-in and take-away, Creams Cafe Streatham’s desserts will also be available for home delivery via Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat.
Othman Shoukat, Managing Director of Creams comments: “I am delighted to announce, as we finish up what has been a highly successful summer for Creams Cafe, the first opening within Tesco. This agreement signals a significant moment for Creams, as we look to further grow our 100-restaurant estate and this exciting partnership is an opportunity for us to extend our reach whilst reaffirming our position as the UK’s favourite dessert restaurant brand.”
Every little helps!
